Delete your Wonderkid account

Two taps, inside the game, and it happens immediately. This page says exactly what goes, what briefly stays, and what to do if you can't sign in.

This applies to Wonderkid (space.wonderkid.game) — the same account whether you play on Android or in a browser.

How to delete it

  1. Open Wonderkid — on your phone, or at game.wonderkid.space.
  2. Sign in, then open Settings.
  3. Choose Delete my account and confirm with your password.

The password is asked for on purpose: this is a one-way door, and a session left open on a borrowed phone shouldn't be enough to open it. There is no undo, no grace period, and no copy kept aside.

What is deleted

Immediately, and permanently:

  • the account itself — your email address, username, display name, and the hash your password was stored as;
  • every saved career and its version history;
  • the summaries of careers you finished;
  • anything you wrote to us from inside the game;
  • error reports and usage events belonging to the account;
  • your sessions and every sign-in token — you're signed out everywhere.

What isn't deleted, and for how long

  • One server log line recording that an account was deleted, with the username it had. It's how we can answer "was that account deleted, or did it break?" — and it's removed automatically after 30 days.
  • Backups taken before the deletion rotate out on their own schedule shortly afterwards. They aren't readable from the running service.
  • The signup entry on this website is separate. If you signed up here, that entry lives on a different database, and deleting your game account doesn't remove it — it also holds more than the game account does: your first name, last name and chosen username. Write to info@wonderkid.space and it's removed.

If you can't sign in

Write to info@wonderkid.space from the address the account uses, and ask for it to be deleted. If you've lost access to that address too, say so and we'll work out another way to establish it was yours.

If you want a copy first

Settings → Export my data, on the same screen, hands you everything the account holds. Do that before deleting, not after — afterwards there's nothing left to export.
